Terms of Use
1. Agreement and operator
Meetino is a mobile app for nearby meetups on Android and iOS. By continuing on the phone screen, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The service is for people aged 18 and over. Sign-in is only available in the apps, not via a standalone website.
The service is operated by Jaroslav Kohutiar — SELEKT (IČO 51213052), Obrancov mieru 1156/21, 020 01 Púchov, Slovak Republic (trade register: Okresný úrad Považská Bystrica, no. 330-24285). Contact: privacy@meetino.net.
2. Account and content
The account is tied to a phone number. At registration you provide your name, date of birth, gender and a photo. You may then create meetups, send messages and chat photos, request friendships and leave reviews. You are responsible for what you publish. It must not break the law, harass others, or sexualize minors.
3. Location
The map and nearby meetups work only if you turn location on in the app. We do not track location in the background while the app is closed.
Live participant location: from 2.5 hours before a meetup starts until it starts, the organizer and participants of that meetup see each other’s current location, and only while the app is open. Nobody else sees it. You can turn this off in Profile. If you do not share, you do not see the others.
4. Conduct and real-world meetups
Do not harass, scam, or publish someone else’s data. We may remove a meetup, message or account, and block the account, if you break these terms or put others at risk.
Meetino helps people arrange meetups. You decide whether to meet in person. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell someone you trust, and leave if you feel unsafe. We are not a party to your offline meetings and are not responsible for other users’ conduct offline, except where the law does not allow that limitation.
5. Paid features
Meetino sells paid digital features inside the app. The price is shown before you confirm. On Android the payment is processed by Google Play. On iOS the payment is processed by the App Store. We do not receive or store your card number.
Credits are one-time packs (50, 150 or 500 credits). They are used for likes and gifts in the app. Credits are not money, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Meetino Premium is a monthly subscription. It renews each month until you cancel it in the store account where you bought it. Premium includes a 25 km map radius, up to 3 active pins at once, seeing who viewed your profile, and no ads.
Credit packs and Meetino Premium are digital content, sold as a digital application. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the United Kingdom and you agree that supply starts immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal ends once the credits are added or Premium starts. Refunds otherwise follow the rules of the store that processed the payment.
6. Ending the account
You can delete the account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy, or email privacy@meetino.net.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live (including in the EU, UK, United States, or Canada).
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page.
